okay so i just recently bought a at&t avail (pre paid go phone) it has android os 2.3.4 now im sure there are threads already about this but is there a way to get rid of the unwanted bloatware since i cant download apps without the internal memory being full?

also is there a way to get the apps to install on to the sd card without using the internal memory?

Rooting is one way. Another way is by moving the movable apps to the SD card.

Hello and welcome aboard. I've moved your thread to its correct forum for some faster responses. :)

Welcome to the world of first gen electronics :D. So far, there are rooted ROMs and rooting the stock ROM. One downside is that owning a first gen means that there's not a whole lot yet. My ROM, though entirely incomplete, is based on Anthony062991's one.two ROM. You'll need to flash the CWM recovery, which means learning ADB. (I'd consider Androids to be slightly addictive :D)

thanks for the info. i will have to look into it because the lack of internal memory because of the bloatware is killing me
