Root Install "Nandroid/Titanium Backup" from old Dinc to new Dinc?

So my Dinc which I bought on launch day blew the front speaker yesterday. I called Verizon and they are shipping me a brand new Dinc out today. My question is, I have already rooted my phone and installed like 50 apps on it with tons of other crap, settings, data, etc. I have made multiple nandroid backups and titanium backups. Can I just save the backups on my SD card then get my hands on the new Dinc, root that one as well then use my backups on the SD card to just load everything on to the new phone so I don't have to go through the process of re-setting up my entire phone again? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks guys.

Adryn had done this, I believe, and ended up having issues where the auto-install for appbrain would install the app on BOTH phones, lol... The titanium backup should be safe though, but be careful with the nandroid restore..

You should be able to with Titanium with no issues. I think someone cautioned against doing this with Nandroid, but I can't remember the exact reason why.

Thank you for the quick reply. The old Dinc will be wiped and sent back to Verizon after I receive the new one and finish transferring every thing from the old to the new. So I should root the new Dinc, download Titanium back up and then install the back up from my transfered SD Card?

You shouldn't even need to root (unless you want to, that is). Just install Titanium backup from the market, and it will find all your backup'd apps on your SD card. Select "Restore all user apps + data" and you'll be good to go.

Titanium won't work without root.

I want to root my new Dinc no matter what. I like to use SetCPU, RomManager, Titanium backup, etc. I just want to make sure that I do what I need to do to get everything from this phone to the next one as smoothly as possibly...
