Help Install New ROM

OK so I want to install a new ROM on my Android device but it keeps saying error

I have an HTC One M8 with LiquidSmooth ROM
Running TWRP Recovery
S-On

I want to go to the ViperOneM8 ROM but it just says error when I try to flash it.
Anyone know how I can fix this?

OK guys. I figured out how to install ViperOne - The one I downloaded before was corrupt.

I installed it and I got stuck in a bootloop so i went back in recovery and I had to transfer the LiquidSmooth

ROM as it's the only working one for my phone. I installed the same one, put it in my phone using adb and

then I flashed it. Everything seemed normal until I rebooted my device. When it rebooted, it just sends me to

the FASTBOOT menu. I downloaded the ROM from the official website.

HELP ANYONE?

OK I feel dumb now. I downloaded the ROM for Nexus 6. I installed the ROM for HTC.

I flashed the gapps again. I thought it was needed. Now all I get is: com.proccess.gapps has stopped. I just need help on

This now only I think. HELP

Also, I have no experience with this specific device, but in the past with HTC and s-on, you were required to flash the boot.img separately after a rom flash. This is because s-on would prevent the kernel from flashing when you flash a rom.

Also, you have to be aware of what bootloader version you are on and rkm compatibility. Some time will only work on specific bootloader versions which you can't easily switch between being s-on.

If there is s-off available for your device, I'd highly recommend it if you're going to be using custom roms.
