Root Install zip from clockwork recovery?

If I were to install a rom from there would it work or screw up my phone?

I know this is probably a stupid question but need to get my phone loaded since it was stuck in the boot screen. Thank you in advance.

It would probably work just fine. However amonra recovery seems to be much more reliable and it is very easy to switch

Just don't try to load a 2.2 based ROM like velocity 1.0 If your running 2.1 or vice versa. for that you would need to use the guide at http://androidforums.com/ally-all-t...-3-2011-3-40-pm-est-now-easier-than-ever.html
I agree with KingOfGreen, Amon Ra seems much more reliable on Ally for some reason.
