Root installed icarus. no data........

I recently installed Icarus 1.1 and i almost never get 3 g now. wi-fi is shotty at best and it wasn't before. i have verified that my A.P.N is on cricket. as it is my carrier. Whenever i try to access market i just says "a network error has occured. Retry, or cancel and return to previous screen". Not sure whats going on here however i am about to run fix permissions from my manager. Please any feed back would be great.

You know, I had Data/Wifi issues the first time I had Icarus 1.1. Though after putting it into airplane mode for a little bit, Then rebooting the phone it straightened up. I haven't really had issues since. I thought it was just because I had Metro, So I didn't think much of it. I don't know how or why this helped but, It also made my wifi signal stronger too. Perhaps when I turned on airplane mode it reset the connections? Then rebooting it helped stabilize them?

I got mine running strong on Icarus props to the creator and thanx for the info on here. Just need to restore some apps and contacts and im good to go

I had to do this myself. Goto settings/wireless & network settings/mobile networks/access point names/ then select cricket. if it doesn't accept the first time, keep doing it. It should be fine

This is right. The original Huawei ROM had 2 versions (Metro and Cricket). I had to figure out how to combine the two. For some people, it auto chooses, but for most, you have to select your carrier.
