Help Installed wrong jelly bean update

I recently installed the Jelly Bean update for my Virgin Mobile Galaxy S2 4G. Since the update I haven't been able to send or receive MMS messages. After a little digging around and tracing my steps back, I realized I installed the Sprint Jelly Bean update instead of the Virgin Mobile.

I'm feeling rather stupid, but I'm wondering if I can just install the Virgin Mobile version over top of the existing version.

Edit: Nevermind. I tried it, and it was a success!

I did the same thing and after playing around with the sprint version for a little while I decided to try the aame thing lol

I installed JB yesterday morning and never could find the Virgin Mobile version(still can't even though I keep going to the website everybody points out) but I can't find anything that doesn't work on the Sprint version.

I must say though that I don't send text messages ever so that may not be working since I haven't tried it but everything else works. I'm really pleased with the update...seems to be smoother and a bit faster.

Hey! I just did the same thing. How did you get it back to Virgin Mobile? I tried to install the Virgin Mobile over the Boost(sprint) but it wouldn't let me. I called Virgin mobile tech support who told me to do a factory reset, which didn't help. Do I have to remove the update? If so, how do I do that?

PLEASE tell me how you did this! The download link above does not work. It now registers my phone as a sprint phone, so my mms wont work. I tried a factory reset and it still kept it as a sprint phone.
