Root Installing Google Chrome

I was going to d/l Chrome from the Play Store but it says you need Android 4.x. I'm using MikG 3.11. Is there a way to get Chrome installed on this ROM? If not, is there a similar ROM (to MikG 3.11) that uses 4.x?

It has to be an ICS based ROM or above to run chrome.

I'm not familiar with the current state of development, but last time I looked there wasn't a daily driver that is sense based and ICS.

No the only 4.x ROMs are AOSP based. I doubt the OG Evo will ever get a Sense based 4.x ROMs.

There already is a sense based, ics rom so.....but like rxpert posted, not necessarily a daily driver. Platty did post that he's got some time again to work on the sense based, ics rom in the coming weeks so.....look out for that

Ok...thanks for the replies. I guess I'll have to wait for a stable ICS ROM or for a new phone (although I love my EVO 4G).

I did find a version of chrome modded to work on gb based roms, but I also heard it was buggy and I can't remember where I found it. I think it was on xda somewhere.

There are many browsers themed to look like chrome, but the real chrome won't work on anything less than ICS
