Installing the OTA 2.1 file

Anyone got any ideas of how to switch from the HTC keyboard to the stock Android keyboard?

I don't think your upgrade was successful... none of your numbers are the same.

I still have the PB00IMG.zip on my sd card from when I did the all in one package. Do I need to delete this?

Anyone else having an issue with the HTC weather widget? Mine shows the weather in the widget but as soon as I tap the weather it comes up and crashes the weather app. I have rebooted and it did it as soon as it came up from 2.1 update.

Any ideas?

i'm on HBOOT 1.46 and when i rename it to update (as a zip) on my sdcard, on top level, restart my phone with vol. down and power, i only get fastboot mode and recovery, and can't scroll to either of them...

what am i doing wrong?

Another thing is that my hboot is 1.49.2000, different than the o/p

hboot 1.49 generally means you installed a leak, which would mean this wouldn't work for you...

Same thing here, tried with Mobile Network on and off, but clicking the weather crashes, then goes to a black screen, then back to the home screen.

The only bug I have w/ my 2.1v3 leak is still the random audio going out on me. It's been there through all 3 leaks though, so, I am sure it's a hardware issue.

If you have that file on your card you are probably on a leak. you can not run this update.

LeakV3 is not the same as OTA. Anyone that did OTA should still be able to root.

How do you figure? The Eris was never "rooted", a leaked developer image was released giving root.
