Insurance P4U

Don't ever buy insurance from the likes of p4u or cpw. You most likely don't need/want it and if you do it can be bought much cheaper from a third party.

Who would you recommend getting insurance with? I managed to get a good deal at P4U and by adding their insurance on top makes a not so good deal. And if they're not very good well then I wont bother, but I am worried about something happening to my phone and not being able to afford a new one if need be.

If you have house insurance, it may be worth checking if that covers it. Otherwise I'm not sure, I generally avoid insurance, the amount over the year could often pay for a repair/secondhand replacement if something goes wrong

As others have said I would suggest home insurance (a lot cover this now) and bank account extras. If those fail Google for it. I guarantee it'll cost less than p4u.

Can't recommended a particular firm. Don't tend to buy any of this kind of insurance or extended warranty myself.

Thankfully I've found an Insurance that will also cover me for loss and is cheaper that P4U (who won't cover loss).

Check out this site Mobile Phone Insurance: Cheap cover for your handset... look at the reviews of people who have bought insurance and how they where treated, also be careful as a lot of policies do not cover loosing your phone, i.e leaving it in a pub etc

I have mine insured through my bank account, part of the package. But remember, this is like a regular insurance claim & can take weeks, or even months, before you get a replacement.

Another way to think of it. Put the money aside every month. If after a year, you lose it, bear in mind a comparable phone will cost less in a years time and your
