Help Intermitently cant answer by SLIDING DOWN or ANSWER (while screen is on)

Anyone else ever had a problem answering?
From time to time I cant answer by SLIDING DOWN or ANSWER (while screen is on)
Rom tried CY 6.1, Skyraider 2.3 and now with the latest Redemption rom
Tried just the phone both with and with out holding it. In and out of the case both hard and silicone.
At this time I use my bluetooth to answer with out a problem.
Getting close to going outside with the Phone and my 40 SW and only one will return.

taking it back is out I have had returned 2 already with the same problem and dont want to revert to the VZ stock rom

fter weeks of being P.i.s.sed at this phone and changing Roms 3 times by chance i tried to answer a test call and the same thing happened I then (as it was ringing) I wiped the screen with a cloth then pulled the bar down to answer to think about it I also was having problems touching anything at the bottom of the screen

I used to have this problem with the slide to answer and often had to swipe below the bar. Then it would work fine.
