Help internal memory problem with galaxy s2

seagrid

Lurker
Hi, i have been using galaxy s2 for a month now, it has no problems until i recently found out that my internal memory (USB storage) says that it only has 676 MB available space from 11.50GB total space
i thought it was because so many apps i downloaded, i tried to move all my apps using "move app to SD card" but it didn't take any effect
then i even try to uninstall half from all of my apps, still it didn't take any effect.

I wonder where did another +- 10GB memory go?? can anyone help me? does anybody has similar problems with me?

In one sentence : My USB Storage has little space while i have few apps installed

I do have musics and videos, but all of my pictures, media, music, video, etc. i put it in my external SD card, so it will not effect my internal storage.

While it's mounted as a removable (USB) drive right click the drive on the desktop, choose tools, then error checking to run diagnostics from Windows. If need be choose "scan for recovery of bad sectors" or similar. Somtimes these corrupted or ghost files can take huge amount of space storing nothing!
