Help internal mic issues

I am wondering if there are any possible fixes for the internall mic. It barely works, when I call some one the can barely hear me only if I scream into the mic. I have the HTC evo 4g. Unfortunitly I did not get insurance on it, this is getting old.

i'm not sure what else you can do. they may just charge you $35 to get it fixed.

Have you tried to make a phone call with blue tooth, or with a wired headset to verify its the on board microphone and not a phone wide audio issue.
