Root [International] Battery Kernel/Performance Kernel

With the I9300 all the kernels i liked were actually for the nexus 4 like francos and faux. What are some kernels for battery/performance for the galaxy s3 international. I tried siyah, i like it but i want to try others.

I think im going to try devil kernel tomorrow. I'm going to see what the battery is like on siyah after doing some tweaks. Thanks!

To change between performance/battery life i use No Frills CPU Control app. I have it set as a shortcut when i tap the clock on my homescreen. At home i have it set to Max: 1.7GHz, when im trying to save battery i turn down the Max limit

Thse settings i tweaked kept making my phone reboot by it self then get stuck on boot screen. So i needed to turn off then reboot manually. I will return back to normal stweaks and download devil :D

I dunno tbh, have u tried rebooting? The phone will reboot if you overclock to much without giving it enough voltage btw. I find that 1.7GHz works fine without changing the voltage

what are your settings for your battery life siyah kernel?

Just now im on a long bus journey on way to my mums so i have Max set at 600MHz. It feels a bit laggy but its usable
I use pegasusq governor and Row i/o

I returned back to siyah since it was causing some troubles. Battery was just going down and there was no info for kernel and quite a few of manager stuff in devil wasnt working. I will try the next update devil does. Are you sure that was the right website?

Didn't really rate Devil myself. For me, I really need a kernel that allows fast charge otherwise my battery dies even when on charge.

Depends how much control you want over it then mate, like how often youre gona change the speed. I use No Frills Cpu Control (free) because its really simple to just open it and set Max speed to say 1.7GHz or underclock it to 600MHz when i need to.
Theres also Set Cpu (not free) which has more options for automating things.
P.s, get the STweaks app if you dont already have it. You can change a lot of Siyah settings with it like making the phone louder, charge faster etc as well as changing the CPU speeds and voltages (just be careful when experimenting with the CPU.. No Frills is the safest option to start out with)

I OCed my CPU to 1800MHz with stock voltage and had no issue with shutting down via STweaks and Siyah, slurped battery with heavy phone use though (why with no extra voltage is a mystery), mind you it was quicker. I did some highly unscientific tests against my sisters stock SGS3 and the stock browser was a good second faster and the transitions were quicker to the eye (but not as pretty, strangely enough).

I guess how much you OC and with what voltage you can get away with is completely phone dependent. What works OK on one perfectly good SGS3 may not work well on another.
