Root International data roaming?????

[Eris_2.1_2010]

I just lost service in kentucky and when it returned I got an international data roaming popup, and I've got a message in the notification bar as well. I have screen shots but can't seem to upload from my X. Any ideas whats going on? I'm on original rooted gingerbread leak.

I saw the same thing about a week ago after loading the first GB leak. I'm in Alabama. I turned off data roaming right after seeing it. Haven't seen it since.

Just tried that and lost service.

Edit: I tried airplane mode and a reboot. Still comes up with data roaming.

I live very close to ky, anytime I go into ky my phone says the same thing, but I have never got any charges. I asked a rep at Verizon they said it just extended network. I did have to allow data roaming to get any data though.

Long shot here: Did you update roaming capabilities? *228 option 2.

I had the same thing here shooting on BLM in NV near the California border. Mexico hasn't taken back California yet have they???

And yes, I *228'd many times.

Just installed .588 leak. Hopefully I won't see the data roaming when I go back thru kentucky tonite.
