[International / GSM] Question about Ota update

I'm always flashing custom roms and whatnot but I was wondering if I flash my stock nandroid (4.1.1 hspa+) will it receive the latest update being rolled out soon and will it be able to install? Thanks guys

if your device is rooted you may have issue's installing the OTA (they don't like each other)
but if you have an update being pushed for your device via OTA as long as your stock you will be fine.

If you revert back to fully stock, then you should receive it. I would personally choose AOKP or cm10 and get the latest releases through their roms unless you just absolutely want stock. I personally love AOKP and couldn't ask for anything else. :D

Mine is rooted, but otherwise fully stock. I haven't seen the OTA update yet, and am wondering if root will interfere...

It usually does, most Android users need to UN-Root their devices, Install the update and find the correct rooting method for that Update, its usually not hard.

I'm stock and rooted with the Nexus Root Toolkit. After the 4.1.2 OTA download my phone rebooted but it booted into the Team Win Recovery Project v2.2.0 recovery mode.

I just pushed Reboot from that menu but my phone stayed at 4.1.1. Does anyone know how to get the OTA to install 4.1.2 when the TWRP shows up?

Use Voodoo OTA Root Keeper to temp unroot your phone and then re-root after the update has installed. Hasn't failed me yet.
