Root [International] Need help with Htc one

I will ^^ i hope this works... i've been searching for months not kidding... youtube isnt helpfull at all , and its almost done
 
could you check one other thing for me please, have a look on your phone, goto menu-settings-about-software information-software number ??? tell me what the number is.
 
its nearly done ^^ phone is at 46% i guess thats enough ? it won't run out that fast i think, battery life is pretty solid.
 
perfect, its the 401 I was looking for, it means WWE Europe, that rom you downloaded has the 401 in it too, the first set of numbers is the version, but the 401 is the main thing that matters.
 
when the file has copied over, put the phone in fastboot mode (restart and hold down volume down button) again it should say fastboot USB on the phone screen.

Then open up a command promt again in the mini-sdk folder, (Control + Shift + Right mouse click and select open command windows here)

Then type fastboot devices

should report back and say serial number fastboot

if so type fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

only takes a couple of seconds.

it lets you know that your phone is working and connected properly, it should just say the serial number of the phone and fastboot.
 
unplug your phone, the rest of the work is done on your phone only now, go into recovery.

you will need to use the volume and power button to do that but first select bootloader in the list then select recovery.

volume to navigate, power to select.
 
first select wipe, DO NOT SELECT ADVANCED WIPE, just swipe to wipe.

then go back and select install, find the zip you copied over in the list and select it, then swipe to confirm flash.
 
when done your phone will be like you first got it, you will have to set it all up, don't go rooting or flashing any custom recoveries, just set it up basic and then check for updates, I got 2 updates earlier today.
