Root [International] Super user installed but no root

Hey guys,

Total newbie to rooting here. Tried it the other day and it hasn't worked as promised.

I downloaded and ran the ioroot tool as suggested and it ran through fine. I disconnected unchecked debugging and re checked all worked fine.

Super user has been installed but root checker says I'm not rooted .

Then I noticed these error messages on the root log. Any idea what they mean? Does this mean my phone can't be rooted? Do I need to use another method? HELP LOL!

I've attached a picture I took of the root screen with the error messages.
Many thanks.

I'm not familiar with ioroot, but from the output it appears that it failed to root your device.

The "mount: Operation not permitted" likely means that the /system partition was not remount in read-write mode, thus preventing the pushing of the su binary to /system/xbin.

The Superuser app (Superuser.apk) was successfully installed, but you can do that through the Play Store and will not, in and of itself, give you root.

Hopefully someone familiar with ioroot can chime-in to assist you.

Hope that helps!

edit: this page on XDA (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2522346) says that if you took the ZVE update, that IORoot will no longer work and that you'll need to use Stump Root instead. Not sure if that's applicable to your situation...

OK. So I downloaded and ran Stump. But it's saying my device is ALREADY rooted and the option to grind isn't available. But when I check with Root Checker and SuperSU it's saying my device ISNT rooted. This is soooooo frustrating! Can anyone think what might be happening?
