Help internet browsing default zoom

Is there a way to adjust the default zooming level on a page whenever you load a new page? I don't like how it displays the entire page too far out and I gotta zoom in on it all the time.

Yes.

You can change the internet browsing default zoom in the browser settings. It's called "Default Zoom".

while internet is open hit menu, more, settings, scroll down to default zoom.

Just got my new Evo 4G on Saturday, and this approach above from Mr. Ed doesn't work for me. I'll set it to 'close' and reopen the browser and same thing...it is zoomed waaaaay out and I have to use the two-finger 'salute' (spread) to zoom in...every page...just to read the text.

The browser in my old hTC Hero (that I traded in on Saturday) didn't do this.

What gives?
