i own a lg optimus v because it is an android smart phone with unlimited data (when it works) for $25 /mo. the rest of my bunch has verizon and i hear a cha-ching with every one of their texts.

i am very nervous about rooting and roming but really want leslie ann's (and company) harmonia rom. then i get nervous that it will break my pandora/blue tooth car connection which is where my phone gets most of its use.

If you haven't lurked there yet, make sure you check out the section specifically for root the Optimus V. It can be a little intimidating with all the dire warnings of bricking your phone and voiding your warranty and having body parts fall off with no liability whatsoever, but in truth it's very difficult to really brick a phone and so far only a few body parts have fallen off.
