Hi, my name is Dave and I'm an alcoholic. :beerglass: Doh! Wrong forum!

Hi, my name is Dave and I'm an Androidoholic. ;) My current phone is a rooted Kyocera Hydro from Boost Mobile. My two previous phones were both Android devices. One being the Samsung Galaxy Precedent and the other an LG Optimus Q, both from StraightTalk. I don't like limitations. My main reason for joining the forum is due to my recent rooting success. The help I received came from this forum. As it turns out, there's some good stuff on here. I'm still learning as I go but I want to offer help when I can.

Make yourself at home... The cookies are gone, and so is the pizza... But the Android knowledge is flowing freely here, and there is plenty of friendly people willing to help you out.

So how do you like your hydro? I've debated on getting this myself... But I like the screen size of the warp...

Thanks! The Hydro's not bad but it has its glitches. Every phone I've ever had has had its own quirks though. I wasn't too fond of full-on touch screens (no keys) until this phone. The screen's response is really nice. I definitely like ICS. I'd like to go to a bigger screen size but I don't want to carry around a tablet in my pocket.

And the glitches (like random browser crashing or locking up on wifi toggle) could just be from all the crap I have loaded on my phone. :hmmmm:

The water resistance is the biggest appeal to me. Hell, just a few days ago my wife spilled my beer on my phone. I took it to the sink and washed it off. No harm, no foul. :D

Now I'm going to have to find something to eat. I'm suddenly craving pizza.
