Root Invalid Beta Key

Yessir I've tried it multiple times as well, same error. Took the battery out to confirm phone serial, everything I can think of.
 
hi everyone.I am having the same issue (beta key invalid) and i've tried every possible method to be successful but still no luck.checked the imei no 100 times tried to copy the beta key(generated from revolutionary) in notepad and pasted it into the cmd no luck.Tried to type it manually no luck.Copied it directly from where it generated still same response.drivers installed debugging on even tried to change the usb slot and of course restarted the computer and the fone itself not working for me.Hboot version is 1.18.000. android 2.3.4. htc sense version 3.0. phone htc sensation. not evo or anything simply htc sensation.Bootloader unlocked from htcdev and cwm recovery is there aswell.any suggestions. Would be very thankful to be guided.

Welcome cherrubi! You said you have the HTC Sensation? After you unlocked the bootloader thru the HTCdev site there may be another step involved before you can run revolutionary...just like the Evo4g. You are in the Evo4g forum but just want to be sure your phone is the HTC Sensation...I am unfamiliar with the rooting of that phone.:)

Edit: do you know which Sensation you have? I just looked at the phone info available and apparently there are 4 versions...I can move you to the correct one if you wish
 
Hello everyone. I am having the same issue (beta key invalid) and i've tried everything but still don't have the right key to move to the next step. I tried everything about 0 and O and L and l checked the number and about the cmd copy and paste. but I got a bit confused which number I should put in revolutionary box 'serial number'? my s/n number ,my imei? i would really appreciate it if you can help get my beta key so I can move up to the next step thank so you Merry Christmas:)
My device(HTC Desire hboot 1.02.0001)
