Having the gallery load for a couple of seconds before the pictures show up?

That just seems to be an Android problem. Every Android phone I have ever had has been pretty sluggish when it comes to photos. I really think they need to ditch that 3D photo gallery.

try other gallery apps like QuickPic for example. way faster than standard app...

another +1 for quickpic.. if the android gallery is not doing it for u, quickpic is the best alternative, i think

yah, i use quickpic as well, i hate the 3d effects in the gallery..

It's the mobile version of CoolIris, works better on PC.

Using a File Manager, navigate to...

external sdcard > Android > data > com.cooliris.media ... delete this file.

Reboot your phone and open Gallery again and wait a few minutes for the Gallery thumbnail cache to rebuild itself.

I used to get a delay previously, and I used to come out of gallery then back in, and all would be fine. Dont think its happened since KH3 to me tho to be honest. Certainly not occured during my KI3 days as yet.

I shall bear that file in mind if it occurs again butty

It you are using a gmail account go into accounts and settings. Then the gmail account to sync and turn off sync to Picasa. Much faster this way for me.
