When I get home ill look into implementing the recovery in place of the stock one. I just got one question, when u enter stock recovery is it automated or does it have a menu?

Varies from phone to phone, boot into recovery with adb reboot recovery and if you lose all your apps without doing any thing yourself, it's automated.

The stock one is automated. No menu. It simply wipes everything.
On a side note, if we had a custom recovery, couldn't we install it through an apk like the one on the 4x? If I had time to get on my computer I'd check it out myself, but they managed to install the recovery without unlocking boot loader.

Well as I posted reboot recovery/bootloader/second recover all just reboot the phone I'm just not brave enough to try adb reboot stock recovery. I know we all know about the build prop LG image signed, which mine is set to false. However if you go to etc/omadm all those files can be edit as they have a bootlaoder true false that I have all set to false with no recourse. I'm goin to shoot for a overclock kernel but I was having trouble repacking my boot. Img last I tried.

My guess is it's a Clockworkmod based recovery test image for the Motion to see who's the bravest of them all LOL!

Tried to get this to work through terminal emulator and it said everything was changed but when I rebooted into recovery it just reformatted my phone back stock with root

Fudge!!!!! LG really did a beast job at protecting their firmware..the freaking file is a tot instead of a bin -_- I need a bin file of this firmware....sigh
didn't the LG Optimus Elite have some issue like that.i i honestly dont understand most of this stuff at all. really sorry if this comment came across as stupid and anoying. just trying to help.

Not sure.....but they don't have a locked boot loader as far as I know...
