Root is anyone trying a work around for the bootloader

yes i am trying now...havent done anything yet and i have the.net framework 4....my little confusion is do i do the injecting first or the unbrick method first?

read the instructions in order.
It's steps 1-14 from my unbrick guide
then steps 2-9 from the thread.

step 5 from xda says to press launch

then there's step 6 and 7 and 8, you must pay attention the entire time during the process.
 
Off topic here but this show on discovery channel "curiosity" there mummifying this dude its weird. Just had to put that out there lol

I've seen some show somewhere on how mummifying was done by Egyptians..can't remember what show.
 
yes the optimus elite has secure boot. its teh same phone as the optimus m+ except was teh first to have the secure boot on

How did you get around that? O.o

And no it's not the same as the OM+ there are a few differences....that's why when you flash a ROM from the Elite on the M+ you get in download mode.....they probably uses the same bootloader though.
 
well folks followed directions to a T and now stuck in download mode and the kdz fw stops responding...plus i didnt get any addresses following the inject instructions....i watched the process and when it started going up i clicked first scan and got nothing.....so i am bricked i believe

If no addresses, then you did something wrong....it always stops responding at first, how long did you let it run???

It stops responding because it is extracting firmware.....
 
i coverted the cab file to the kdz file fine....it was when trying to get those addresses i think when i did it i put ANDROID! when i should have left out the ! thats probably what i did wrong

no, leave the "!"
you didn't try to get the addresses while flashing the firmware on phone???? You are supposed to do this while flashing the firmware...since I can't inject it into the firmware.
 
here is what im looking at:

Windows task manager KDZ_fw_upd memory stopped at 11,112

Cheat engine no addresses, scan type: search for text....value type: string.....text box: ANDROID!

Software update: launching sw update at 21:54, 21:55:14 step complete : DSP Write

you did select the KDZU process right with cheat engine????
