Is Bionic Jelly Been worthy or is it just "some units"?

Well, I wonder what too compromised means from that article. However, one thing that may be in the Bionic's favor is the fact that Motorola is owned by Google, so they may insist on it. I don't see how it couldn't run it from a hardware standpoint.

Reading that article I think that the Bionic will get it just because there is not much difference in hardware between the razor, razor maxx and the bionic. I have a Xoom which is basically a large Bionic with less ram and it runs JB great so the Bionic can definitely handle it.

As I said in the other thread, where I speculated Google (Moto), would bring JB to the Bionic, I think we will get it. They are going to try to set a higher standard for the rest of the Android makers and decrease the current fragmentation. There is no excuse that the Bionic can't run JB, so we should be getting it, and the announcement reinforces that.

Plus their website says all devices made in 2011 and after will be upgraded to JB.

My guess (after it was pointed out to me) is that they'll only do 4G devices....

Something most people are missing about the $100 - YOU HAVE TO SELL YOUR PHONE BACK TO THEM TO GET THE $100 !!

So, if it doesn't and they let us exchange it for $100, would that invalidate our contract? Otherwise, it's not too useful.

It says if its currently being sold it counts toward the deal

And they give you $100 towards your next phone purchase.

No can do. Too many framework changes in ICS that are getting in the way. At least, that is the last I heard from people who were trying to get it to work before.

Why are we waiting for ICS or JB? Wasnt this phone touted as "The end of waiting"?

Yes that was the sales pitch.....& we fell for it. Still a great little phone...just p1$$ poor support....but I'm used to it by now.
