Root Is Cyanogen the only ROM that Wiimote works with?

that's what i've gathered from reading these forums.. very new to all of this but somehow successfully rooted and flashed Cyanogen to my EVO.. but after messing with it for a few hours, i've since gone back to the original ROM.. just wondering if there are any other options out there.. would really like to get the Wii controller synced up..

cm was the only rom that i heard linked with a wii remote. i believe that the wii remote will only pair with aosp roms. sense prevents the bluetooth from connecting. head on over to the xda forums, there should be something there about it.
