Root Is everyone using ROM manager now?

Thanks! That's what I call a hint. I will give it a try.

Another trick is to back up all your apps to your PC (it has come in handy more than a few times). I keep my androidsdk/tools directory in my path so I can enter ADB commands form anywhere on my pc.
To back up all you android apps:

adb pull /data/app .

If you do a wipe your apps will be gone so yes, it is normal but not a problem. I keep a copy of Titanium (more appropriate than Astro for backups as it also restores application settings) on my SD card so it is available after a wipe and flash. You can use either ADB commands from your PC or your local terminal to install (if it is included with your ROM) to get things up and running.

With how much you use Titanium, I'm surprised you aren't just adding it as a system app to every nandroid/update.zip you download. :D

Ah, yes. One of my primary concerns with using ROM manager was flashing a new recovery. I'm so accustomed to SPRecovery and the sense of comfort that comes along with creating nandroid backups before flashing. Does

By the way, what benefit do you get from jumping back and forth between Clockwork and SP? Is there something that SP does that Clockwork doesn't? Also, what scripts are you running to jump back and forth between Clockwork and SP? Are you using Terminal Emulator to run said scripts? Do I need to be running a certain ROM to run them? Sorry for inundating you with questions.

I could not find how to use ROM Manager, it didn't work, do u mind teaching how to use the OLD fashion way? Please, I really need the help!

Old fashioned way is old. You don't cruise around town in a horse a buggy do you? Learn the ROM Manager way and be happy :P

I prefer my pussies clean shaven. Oh wait your talking about cats

Shaved pussies with tats are the best!

I remember a lot of people saying that Clockworkmod's recovery wasn't as good as SPR, and that it might not be able to restore your phone in some cases. Is this still correct, or is CWM recovery better now?

I done at least a hundred restores with cock work without any issue whatsoever

Oh, I've used it a fair number of times as well. I actually used it as my primary backup utility until it burned me a few months ago- after trying a rom I hated I found out the last two backups I made with it were corrupted or something and refused to work. And then directly after that the 'stuck at M' problem happened... considering the "fix" for this was to install SPR and then reinstall CWMR I figured I'd just not bother with step two and keep SPR for awhile.
