Help Is EVO wi-fi speed limited?

Hello,

I have Comcast cable and getting broadband service downloads at 25-36 Mb/s uploads limited to 5 Mb/s, this i am testing at the computer end and through router (Cisco e4200) tests.

When I am on Sprint 4g I get about 3-4 Mb/s download and 1.5 upload speeds. But I assumed I would get similar wi-fi speeds (when i am at home and switch to wi-fi) as the cable connection is providing, surprised when I test and it fluctuates between 3-11 Mb/s download and 3-5 Mb/s upload.

My question is, is the EVO limited in anyway to download speed through wi-fi? I can't seem to get more than 11 Mb/s out of it. Is anyone getting a faster speed?

simple answer...yes

my evo's connection was the slowest in the house...

our other phones hitting 15 mbps down and the evo never more than 11is..and typically it was 5-6. Nothing I changed fixed it which left me with the logical conclusion that is was not capable of more
