Help Is force closing apps really necessary

yeah. the android system is pretty smart and knows for the most part when to shut down an app and when not to. that is why using a task killer destroys your battery more because it is constantly fighting with the android system. from time to time you can clear out the cache from apps. but i would not force close it.

Then why do they have a force close button lol Also the default clock/weather widget is giving me the wrong location even when only GPS is on and does it use alot of battery?

well i guess it is there just in case any apps decide they want to rebel against the android alliance. then all you would have to do is use the force to stop them.:D

have you updated your prl and profile. sometimes that works to correct your location issue.
