Help Is game/application purchasing still the same?

Just wondering if anyone knows if the purchasing process is different after the latest update/upgrade? I went into this game called Nova by GameLoft or something like that and during the time I was playing around with the menus...etc., I saw that the game was taking me to a purchase area (by the looks of things anyway), so I hit the Home button on my phone (that was the only way to get out of it that I could tell), it finally took me to the home page on the phone, then I decided to get back into the game to see what I could see, and I saw, "Thanks for your purchase". Yikes...:( I keep looking for gmail indicating a purchase, but cannot see any. Has anybody else had troubles with this? I hadn't even checked out the game hardly, I certainly didn't make up my mind to buy it yet. Any comments/help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

By the way, since this happened, the menus are different. For one, I can see a multi-player options that wasn't there before. This lead me to think that it was actually run through as a purchase.

it sounds like you were in the game menu...that would be completely unrelated to the google market and I don't see the game having any way to charge you for the game without you entering your payment info. (i keep hearing carrier billing is coming but don't know that it is being used as of right now)

unless it took you to the market but as far as I have seen there is still a confirmation page at purchase in the market, and they still send a receipt

That's kind of what I thought, but I didn't want to just assume that and let it go only to find a charge on my CC. Thanks for your reply, I feel a little better :D

I just noticed that now after this has happened, I no longer have the option to buy the game. So how would I get that option back? The game is truely acting like I've already purchased it.
