Ok in the old days of computers we had a very wonderful thing. It was such an awesome thing that we would not dream of running a computer with out it. This jewel was called a Ram Disk. Back in those days DOS was the BOSS and CLI Ruled the World. Now GUI's are in the lead however CLI is so powerful that it wont go away. Ok well I'm tired of telling you all how long I've been around so lets move on shall we
I Know that in the boot.img file there is a ramdisk image and it loads all the things needed for the system to run. I want to know if there is 1 a way we can make this bigger to include cache / dalvic and 2 if there is a way to do it through the ROM using a Terminal? OR any kind of RAM creating software that we can use. If I could use a RAM Disk to store cache / dalvic then these could be cleaned with every reboot and it would save some space in my System RAM.
Of course I'm sure i'm not the only who has ever thought of this so its probably not possible but how sweet if it is. Anyways Does anyone know anything that could lead me in the right direction?
