Root Is it me or the phone?

.....did the zip contain a META-INF folder? Also go to settings>cyanogenmod settings> interface>status bar tweaks>and somewhere you have to change it to ROM (UOT)
Then reboot.
 
its probably means that your trying to flash themes for a differant screen density than your phone supports, there are ldpi, mdpi and hdpi phones, ours is mdpi
