Help Is it OK to "Clear Cache" Google Services Framework?

I usually "Clear Cache" almost all of my apps, including Google Services Framework, and I just read on the internet that clearing data on Google Services Framework may result some malfunctions regarding your apps.

Just for clarification, I didn't "Clear Data" the framework, I just "Clear Cache" it. So would it be fine? Thanks!

Yes, clearing the cache shouldn't cause any problems.

Yeah, clearing the Google Services Framework data was a way/method to get your device to force and over-the-air (OTA) update to your device.

This article explains why that indeed might be a bad idea:

It does not mention clearing the cache as being bad, so I think you'd be okay there.
