Root Is it safe to delete bluetooth.apk?

Just curious. I have never used bluetooth on any of my phones. Since I see it as a waste of resources on my phone, I was wondering if anyone has deleted it without issues. Is it tied to other apps in a way to make it required?

I haven't noticed any adverse effects from deleting the apk file. I haven't realized any gains either. So I guess it's kinda a mute point

I delete it all the time. Never caused a problem for me.
