Full wipe Only required if coming from a non Froyo rom (but always recommended)
thanks guys, i appreciate the guidance.
I was hoping to be lazy and avoid having to reinstall all the apps etc!
I did a Nandroid back up before wiping the phone, do I need to keep those files on the phone as I now have a folder on the SD card called clockworkmod, within which are my backup folders, I now have 4 of those totalling just under 1.5GB in total. Can I remove these safely from the card....obviously keeping them safe somewhere for later use?
Cheers for the help and advice in advance as always.

I managed to flash Leedroid 2.3b with no problems, I then booted up the phone and reinstalled all of the apps and such like from my titanium backup. Then went back into recovery and tried to flash the 2.3c patch without doing any data or cache wiping. Seemingly it went ok, however I got stuck on the Leedroid Android picture screen for about 30 minutes, nothing seemed to happen. I pulled the battery after 30 minutes and still could not boot up into Leedroid.
I'll be upgrading to 2.3C soon. I'm just pondering if I should go from 2.2F to 2.3B and then flash the 2.3C patch, or if I should wait for the full build of 2.3C.
Then I'll have to decide whether to do a full wipe or not.
Decisions, decisions.....
Go straight to 2.3b then flash 2.3c. Nandroid before flashing 2.3b just to be safe, then flash over 2.2f. Any problems, boot into recovery, wipe, flash 2.3b.
Depends what else is on your card! I've typically got 1-1.5 GB free (depending on how many nandroids I've got at the moment), and wouldn't like it to be too much lower. Waiting for decent 32GB cards to reach a sensible price, as I've more stuff I'll put on when that happens...Regardless, I've increased my apps2sd partition to just over 1GB now. Seemed pointless only having 512MB - which was probably more than enough - when I have a 16GB card.
Cheers, mate.
Will probably do that tomorrow as it's getting late here now. Although I suppose I could do it while I watch the the cricket!![]()

What's the process for extending the partition to 1gb?
Nandroid backup (assume the ext partition is wiped? always worth doing anyway)
GParted to re-allocate the space
Nandroid restore
Is this it? Do I need to format the partitions after re-sizing (so copy the fat partition to pc and then copy back)?
Cheers
