Hiya, thanks for looking to advise me.

I recently installed this rom,

MildWild based on Oxygen 2.3.2-

it is based on this rom,

Oxygen v2.3.2 [13/11/2011] by AdamG

I have changed to a 16gb sd card which I partitioned using the vm method from the guides.

I have installed the quick system info app and it says the following;

sd storage total 13.55 GB. free10.62gb.
a2sd storage total0.98gb free874mb.
Internal storage total 148mb. free 24.71mb.
system storage total 250mb free139mb.
system cache total 13.5 GB. free 10.62 GB.
memory total 406mb. free 226mb. Idle 127m

I have run the oxygen rom before and I thought the a2sd was working then, but now am not so sure. Have looked at various posts but am still not sure.

Thanks in advance if you can tell me.

ah, so you think its ok.

i was looking at the a2sd figs and thinking they seemed to be to close. any idea why they are like that and is it the system storage figs i should be looking at. hope this makes sense, as i`am fairly new to this game.

cheers.

Doesn't mildwild/oxygen have an additional script to flash in order to move dalvik cache too??

hiya, yes i am just looking into that now. also looks as if there is a updated rom to the one i have. i only installed it yesterday.

have to sort out how to set things up more quickly. it has been taking me 3 - 4 hours to set the phone up after installing a new rom.

Is that about right for mildwild 110mb for system, thinking of trying it so I need to set up the custom mtd, also the mountdll script should be OK on this rom shouldn't it?

Speaking of the mtd what are the actual Benifits of changing the partitions aposed to using for example a class 4 sd.
Only one I can think of is if your sd goes.
Any others? Speed? Maybe?
