Is official FroYo comming to Galaxy Apollo?

Got fed up with waiting, the internet issue on my phone was driving me nuts, I was driving the other half nuts, so he very kindly used the upgrade method at the top of this forum for me, I have 2.2 and it is MUCH better now. He has found an April 2011 version too so if there are any issues with the version I have he will update it again.

But so far, so good.

ive done the above method and all was good at first now weeks later the cam packed up and hardly works and freezing a lot i now what to downgrade arrrhhhhhhhhhhhh

but yea it does seem much nicer and better until the probs started hope yours dont go the same way
 
Guys you know 2 people have successfully booted CM7 (Gingerbread) but it has many bugs and has quite a while till release. So if you don't know how yo flash then I recommend you do and remember to remove the bootloader files or you COULD say bye to your phone. It should be done in about a month.
 
I'm from Belgium and I still don't have the update from Kies. Why? Is it because I don't have the original Eclair? What version do I have to (re)install to get the update or what can I do? Someone please?

YES YES YES YES! IT'S FINALLY THERE (In Belgium). I just did a successful firmware upgrade. Just start Kies (it will ask you to update Kies, just say Yes), then when Kies is initialized, connect your phone to your PC via USB. And it will automaticly show that there's a new upgrade available.

I just installed a costum rom , i was so tired of waiting for the update ( i was also mobistar). i have no regrets at all because costum roms are smooth and fast and have extra features.

easy to do?
i read that its so easy, then theres 200 posts with people with problems, i'm not that computer handy, but if this keeps up for much longer i think i will try the unofficial method, just worried about screwing up the phone...
