Is official FroYo comming to Galaxy Apollo?

can i just ask out of blatant curiosity to those who have used the leaked/hacked updates to froyo...what are the main benefits that you have found with it...i know one thing i would love to see is that the battery life is extended somewhat...
 
what i dont get is why is it out in spain and sweden and not in u.k? and normally how long does it take to reach uk?
 
Hi,When is The Samsung Android 2.2 FroYo coming out for U.S.A? I live in Alaska currently have the GCI network for my GT-i5800L
 
Any updates on when the uk will get froyo for the samsung apollo i5801 i really want froyo but am unwilling to use a leaked copy incase it buggers my phone lol:rolleyes:

Same here Samsung are starting to piss me off because they said that it will release in april for america only and no one knows when it will come to the uk and it's already in other countries why delay it?
 
Hey Kies is saying that new firmware is available for my I5801...PHONE:JP2...but it is taking ages to download and is giving errors continously...very frustrating coz it restarts the download even after reaching about 50%
 
2.2 not yet available in Belgium... why is it so hard to launch it on the same day for every country... ready is ready... it's not like they release it for a country and that they continue to work on it for some while and then release it in another country...

I know thats why samsung are starting to annoy me is there anyway you can like change your location and download it? cos thats what i do on my ps3 to get some unreleased demos :)

similar issue.. mine isn't even going beyond 0%, it just gets timed out.. is there something i'm doing wrong?

Are you from india? because i'm pretty sure you don't get orange there and i've also got an orange i5800 but it's also unlocked and still no sign of froyo

Yeah I've got an orange sim aswell, However it's unlocked. I think that samsung might release it in 10-20 Days but I'm not sure, who knows it might come tommorow so keep your fingers crossed (well for unlocked phones that is) not sure when orange are going to pass it on.

yeah I'm from India. They released Froyo here two days ago and I'm still unable to upgrade it :( :(
Any help, guys? It keeps getting stuck around 25%.
