Root Is possible to flash from internal memory?

My triumph can not read microSD anymore.. don't know is it hardware or software problem. I can't re-store or flash from micro SD anymore.. Recovery can't detect micro SD card either. Format micro sd couple times with in winxp and still no micro sd found.

Anyway, thinking to flash to latest rom to find out is it software and I have re-store to stock rom before I can return to VM right?

Anyway suggestion welcome to post.. thanks in adv
 
I'm not aware of any possible way to flash without a working sd card, using adb might be possible but if it's just to return to Virgin for a replacement don't worry about it, I've personally sent back 6 Triumphs and all were rooted and rommed. The first thing that they do with returns is to flash a factory image, first to put the phone in a known state for troubleshooting and second to make sure that no customer information is left on board. :D

Well I can tell you that it's not the ROM as the problem persists in recovery. Tha's outside the ROM's space. It is possible to flash from internal memory, but would require several flashes and, like OverByter said, would be pointless as they don't seem to care.

What if i wipe all data, system and cache and return to original recovery image file and return to VM without rom in there.

Whatever makes you happy, as I said, they don't even try booting the phone until it's had a fresh factory image flashed to it.

Ok.. this device need to activate and re-program, but it can access to manual to change the MEID or MED with custom rom when I dial ##Virgin#. Is any alert way to access to that manual without flash to Original VM rom??

This device is can not read memory card, not way to flash to VM rom
