Root Is there a thread dedicated to new ROMS?

There are so many different roms out there right now. Not only is that confusing for new users. But the fact that there are so many different versions of each ROM that i cant tell which one is the latest version of each. For example. Bugless beasts latest version is 0.4. But their is 1.1, 0.3. Can someone make a thread for all the latest ROMS and when they were released? If there is already one. LINK please. Thanks.

Yeah I went in there and man there was so many different roms and numbers. Gave me a headache lol. Can't tell which one was new and which was old.

Well if someone were to just post the roms with the release dates. It should be easier to tell what was new. Sorry im still new. So if anyone can do it. It would be helpful. If not oh well. Gotta do a lot of digging then.

It helps to look at the date the thread was created :)

also if you just look for the highest version number that is most likely the newest version of the rom.

It is kinda overwhelming when you first start but eventually you will learn which roms you like and which roms you dont so there will be less to pay attention to

Although true about the highest version number for some. But bugless beast was kind of confusing. Wasnt it like 1.1 to 0.3 to 0.4? Or am i wrong. Whatever the case i'll do more research before flashing another ROM. Wanna enjoy my rooted phone for now before i mess up some how.

Pete does make it rather confusing in that regard. For each new version of android he starts over. During 2.0.1 it got up to around 1.1 or so I think and in 2.1 it got up to 1.1 and now with 2.2 its up to .4

He could do his version system a lot better.

If nothing else, He could name them as follows:

BB Eclair X.X
BB FroYo X.X

At least then folks would know the differences...
