I love this phone and I just kinda wish I can get default android 2.1 on this device. The areas where scene and normal android collide is really annoying. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Some people want to run the Incredible with pure vanilla Android - not Android tweaked with HTC's SenseUI.

It's not about "not liking sense"...it's about choice...
I LOVE Sense...but I want the CHOICE...it's about choice not like/dislike
I want to be able to run Sense for a week or two...then maybe switch it up and go with the stock 2.1 interface for a while...then maybe switch to Helix...
I want choice.

I hear you on that one...i feel the same way about the default pushed applications on the phone like cityid etc etc ... but thats another discussion for another time (or when rooted hehe)

Sure it did. There is nothing wrong with SenseUI. There is nothing "bad" about SenseUI, other than it is not vanilla Android.
Some people just want to run vanilla Android without the SenseUI.
I like sense but I miss the vinilla keyboard, gallery, the way the apps would appear whenever you exited an application. Not having the htc facebook. That's really what I liked most about stock 2.1. Sense has some better things though but I wish there was an option for you to turn it off.

I'm not a big fan of Sense either but I am a big fan of HTC widgets , which is the only thing that keeps me on Sense. And none of the replacments widget really do it for me. Did a lot of expierementing when I had my Eris
