I own the core prime with lollypop and was wondering if I could down grade to 4.x. I don't like the way the phone performs and figuring that it would work better with original os

Yes you can root this phone, I have this very same phone, download kingroot v 4.6.2 and it will promt It might not root the phone proceed anyways, and it WILL Root your phone I promise

yes that was then but i think they have the stock rom now so i dont think you should have any issue rooting your phone with kingroot
