Root Is there a way to save your appz when switching roms?

I was wondering if there was a way to back up all the apps in my phone when switching from one rom to another without having to redownload them all. I'm pretty sure there is but my noob ass hasn't read up on it. Anyway, thanks in advance.

I use it to restore app + app data all the time with no issues. That way all my game data is restored. Just don't backup and restore system stuff across roms because not everything is compatible and you will have issues

You can either use Titanium Backup (I recommend getting the pro version but both work), there is also an app called my backup pro I think that works but I would use TB.

I have both My Backup Pro and Titanium Backup paid version. I have found that My Backup Pro is easier to use backing up data and apps, and I use Titanium to just freeze apps. I also like the My Backup Pro because it backs up phone numbers, call logs, texts, etc.

Your results may vary.

I've been trying to reinstall all my apps but they don't show up with Titanium back up pro. I've rebooted and nothing... time to download all of them again. :(

the free version you can use to just backup apps. if you want to freeze them you need the pro version in addition to the free one. the pro is just a key. it cannot operate on its own.

Since you're rooted, just use MBP Root - its free and IMO works better than TB. I don't even save apps anymore since its so easy to reinstall from the android market website, and I'm always switching.
