Root Is there another recovery besides Clockwork

I've had trouble with Clockwork recovery. I'd go to recovery mode, but when I click to do any options, nothing happens, not even reboot. So basically, if I boot into recovery mode, I have to do a battery pull.

I'm trying to install a ROM, but Rom manager can't install it, it told me to boot into recovery mode, but clockwork recovery sux and it's not working. I don't know why. It's just not working, and yes I have the latest recovery. ROM manager made sure of that. LoL!!

So yea, is there another recovery I can use so I can actually do a nandroid backup. I can't even do that since recovery mode doesn't work.

Is there a way I can flash the ROM using ADB?

Try to reflash your recovery, something is broken. But no we have zero recovery options. I wish amon_ra would make a G2 recovery though his was the best.

Do you mean in ROM Manager, you click "Flash ClockworkMod"? Because if you do, I did that countless times. I even flashed older recovery images. And everytime I go to recovery mode, it just doesn't work.

It works fine, I can flash ROMs and stuff, from ROM manager, which takes me to recovery mode and stuff. I just can't manually do anything in recovery mode. Dugh!!
