Root is there anyway to push lockscreen?

hai, so the lockscreen on A75 is a bit laggy i think.
i tried lockbot pro, but instead of the lock screen from lockbot, sometimes, it shows 2 lock screen: the original one, and the lockbot pro

so, can we change the original lockscreen? something light?

Yeah, why not? You just need to edit mtktbase-res.apk go. In fact you need to make another APK app with that name. You just need to know, PNG positioning, XML editting and some Eclipse IDE working.... and yes don't forget using Android SDK too. :D

Bro, we all are trying to change lockscreen since ages. But editing a pre-built APK and that too without knowing the kernel's source code is like " shooting at a pin in pitch black ". There is NO WAY that any present android lockscreen application can change the Micromax A75 lockscreen.

Well yes, there are I guess 2 choices for you to change the lockscreen which MediaTek has provided by default. You just have to do the following:-

Edit the build.prop after you're inside a ROM and change these values

curlockscreen=102 to curlockscreen=2 (for a slide-up style lockscreen)
or revert back to 102 for your current lockscreen style.

I am using the value curlockscreen=1 and am impressed with the lock screen I got. It unlocks vertically up only, but nice font and graphic.

Bro, this type of lockscreen comes even with curlockscreen=2!
And for Gingerbread lockscreen you need to REMOVE the curlockscreen line completely!

Sorry, it was a typo. The lockscreen I posted is corresponding to curlockscreen value of 2 as aayushdutta has pointed out. I have not tried value of 1. (Earlier, it was 102, I changed to 2 and not 1).

but when i removed completely the curlockscreen line, i get the default lockscreen. it's smooth! but the color font is black. anyway to change it?

Flash A75v3@ADProgrammer and then try value 2, but a TIP. I have completely removed curlockscreen, so you gotta add curlockscreen=2 to get the bubble, slip up style lockscreen. But i think, keeping the Version 3 Lockscreen would be more better. I'll see what I can do about the text colour on the lockscreen.

If I m not wrong then in BlueTerror that curlockscreen line is removed to get default GB lockscreen...so u will have to add that line in BlueTerror's build.prop
