Help Is this normal? - Battery Usage.

Just wondering if it's normal to have Android OS have so much battery usage. And, is the keep awake time also normal?

Thanks

yeah it's normal until you get to Android 4.0.4 or whatever version gets pushed next via OTA. You can flash 4.0.4 now and that will be fixed.

keep awake seems a little high but it really depends on what you're doing. It could be pretty normal if you are listening to music or something like that. I'm at 4:30 keep awake but my phone's been unplugged for 28hrs.

Yeah, that's what seemed unusual to me too tbh. I wasn't listening to music at any time that day so how is it possible that it was kept awake for 3 hours?

I suggest trying out betterbatterystats

You can get better battery for free on xda if you want to try it. $2.99 to buy in the market.

[APP] [10 Feb. - V1.6.1] BetterBatteryStats adds battery history back to Android - xda-developers

You can choose "partial wakelocks" - since charged. That will basically list every process that has triggered a CPU action but without waking the screen (hence partial wake lock). It lists triggers by the most time used. I've seen 'backup' as the #1 trigger with a red line almost all the way across the chart. That told me google backup service was hanging up and I shut it off. That really helped me.
