Issues After Rooting.

These various problems have probably all been covered at some point or another, but I'm yet to find a solution. :)

I'll start from the beginning. I was attempting to install CyanogenMod, so start by rooting my SII. The root went fine and I installed ROM Manager etc.

This is where the problems started, I tried to make a back up and once the phone restarted it just froze on the robot & exclamation mark so I had to reboot it. Since then, it just freezes on the Galaxy SII screen.

I've tried going into ClockworkMod Recovery and it started out giving me Checksum errors when restoring and now says unable to flash boot image, or something along those lines. It won't install the (definitely most up to date) Cyanogenmod files, with Status 7 error and my MicroSD card appears to have wiped itself, along with all my backed up photos etc.

I'm not too bothered how, but I just want the phone to be usable again, whether it is by using a generic restore file, whatever. Can anyone help me out?

Oh, and I have tried flashing the stock kernel using Odin with no joy whatsoever.

EDIT: I am also assuming the one and only back up I made is useless as there is only the boot file in the restore folder, when I'm guessing there should be a lot more?
