Help issues with dropped calls

RebeccaMI

Newbie
Is anyone else having a problem with the Warp dropping calls? It doesn't seem to matter if I'm the one who initiated the call or if someone calls me. It also doesn't seem to relate to signal strength.

I have Boost Mobile and live in a city of about 75,000 people so I would be surprised if service overload were the problem. My boss has Boost Mobile service but a different handset and he is not experiencing this problem (unless of course he's talking to me).

My handset is under manufacturer warranty until sometime in March 2013 so I'm considering sending it in.

Are you rooted or stock? A lot of people had that problem before they rooted. Try this and see what you think. Its just a suggestion.:)

My phone is stock, not rooted. I never rooted it because #1 I'm afraid I might goof up and turn the phone into a brick, and #2 doesn't that void the warranty and the $5/mo insurance?

Yes, it will void the warranty. :(

But the stock warp is just full
of problems. That's why
most of us have rooted and
installed some very nice roms.
Themes, tweaked kernel, etc.
