Issues with Gmail sending?

Yesterday I tried to send pix via gmail and for several minutes it said "sending". SO I switched from 4g to wifi, and the message sent instantly.

Today, I've tried for nearly 25 minutes to send pix via gmail over both 4g and wifi, but it just keeps saying "sending".

I broke the message down from 4 pix and sent 4 separate mails with one pic in each. Same deal.

Anyone know what's going on?

I have this problem on my connect if I have the latest gmail installed. Uninstall gmail and just use the original one that came with the phone and see if it works then.

I do believe it's the original version. Also it's interesting that apparently a wide variety of other types of phones have experienced issues with gmail, as I saw in the similar threads when making this one.

Hmmm... I'm guessing since the motion is newer than the connect it may have came installed with the newer version. I wonder if there is a way to replace the original.

edit: here is the apk to the gmail i have. Not sure if you would be able to downgrade but it's worth a try.
