This may not be the right place for this, but I rooted my evo several months ago. About 3 weeks or so ago my phone has been doing to the caller ID announce then requiring me to press one to answer the calls. I have explored every option I can think of for possible solutions. I am hoping some else on here has an idea that I can try.

Agreed, sounds like Google Voice. Go to your Google Voice account from a browser and go to Settings-->Calls and there's a Call Screening radio button that I have set to Off (Directly connects calls when phones are answered)
 
Also give *38 a call on the phone. This will turn conditional call forwarding off. I had to do this when I was on my hero and I tried Google Voice.
 
isnt "issues" a Korn album? All kidding aside, it does indeed sound like the google voice app... my phone became possessed by this app about a year ago and IT..... DROVE..... ME.....NNNNNUUUUUUTTTTTTTTSSSSSSS!!!!!!! for about 3 hours until i figured out what it was, then was a PITA to get off my phone. I had to restore a nand :O Anyways, I hope you got his figured out holmes :D
